"Played this course several times in the last year and on returning in April I was astounded, green fees have gone up yet the greens are the worst I have ever played on. The members I spoke to tell me they are diseased. Appalling."

"Poor experience"

"We played Criccieth GC on Sunday. It is an 11 hole golf course, playing holes 3 to 9 to make 28. It is very undulating with some steep inclines. Not recommended for senior golfers. The grass on the fairways was about 1.5 inches long. I lost a ball in the middle of the fairway. My partner and I both regreted our decision to play this course. The only good thing was the scenery, that was amazing!"

"Beginners Luck"

"Beginners luck alright, I've started to learn the game with two of my sons, John the pro is brilliant and has become a friend and guiding light. Each week we develope our own technique (with Johns persistent guidance). This is also a very well run and maintained club for all levels too enjoy. It can be trying in places but we aim to master it. Try it and you'll be coming back for more."

"Nice course shame about the members."

"Played course in party of 8(2xfourballs).Course was in good condition and presented a good challenge. Catering was excellent with pleasant helpful staff. The downside was the members on the course who quite clearly resented visitors and made no attempt to observe even basic golf etiquette( e.g. standing still and not talking when a player is addressing the ball) I later found out that one of the culprits was the club captain-enough said. I understand that the annual membership sub. is £950 perhaps these people should consider paying £2000 pa. and they could then afford not have visitos."

"Great Club"

"Have played the course on a number of occasions over the last few years. The course is always in great shape, the views are amazing and there's a warm atmosphere in the clubhouse. Can't ask for more than that!"

"Top quality course"

"Played Mold GC for the first time today and it was unbelievable. The. Quality of the greens, tee boxes and fairways were superb and the layout was testing whilst still being very playable, even for a high handicap.. The blind tee shots and elevated tee boxes make you think twice about club selection which was enjoyable I would recommend this course to anyone interested in the game. Thoroughly enjoyable and friendly staff too. Will be back soon. Regards, Dave"

"A nice enough course...but terrible bunkers"

"Have played here several times. It's a particularly good course to play if you haven't played a round for a while. It's fairly forgiving off the tee and not overly long, although the shots still have to be hit. The only downside was the sand. The bunkers could do with the same amount of sand again in them as playing out of them is like hitting a ball off a path of compacted sand. It is rock hard underneath, thus making a recovery shot almost impossible to consistently hit."

"North London's best course?!!"

"I challenge anyone to find a better golf course so close to London. Hadley has the conditioning of the likes of the Grove but the feel of a great surrey private members club. Everyone was so welcoming and the facilities were amazing. Not many courses with free driving ranges and snooker tables! If you haven't been to the course in the last year with the changes and improvements go now! I think it can finallly challenge Ashridge for best course in Hertfordshire."

"Inland Gem"

"In a county with some of the finest Links golf in the world we should not overlook the fact that Manchester GC is a fantastic example of rolling moorland/ parkland golf . This is reflected in the members handicap 50% of whom are off single figures and the fact that its regularily the venue for county and regional championships . DON'T overlook this gem !"

"A hidden Jewel"

"In an area which is mainly flat, this course is a hidden jewel. An oasis of undulations, lakes and excellent scenery. Every hole runs in a different direction, which when coupled with breezy conditions, makes for a very challenging venue. At the time if this reveiew, the greens are in brilliant condition. I doubt very much whether there is a tougher set of of four par 3s anywhere, and certainly not in the region."

"Way behind the times"

"Nice interesting course, but hospitality and welcome appalling from Pro and Assist Pro, as well as members looking down their nose at you. Shame this attitude wastes a good course. Way behind the times of the real world !"
