1. What a gem!
Don't tell anyone about this place, keep it a secret. At present it never seems to be busy, particularly at the weekends.
It is a fabulous golfing experience, with: beautiful springy fairways; firm and challenging greens, fascinating drives and second shots; wonderful par threes; lots of heather and gorse; and beautiful views.
Added to which the clubhouse is like a lovely old country pub, with friendly staff, a comprehensive bar and delightful food.
You would think that such a quality experience would be expensive, but it is not. Everything is sensibly priced.
